It is the responsibility of
the winning team to email in the score.
-
Teams
receive 2 Points for a win, 1 for a tie.
-
When a
team is a no-show for a game the team that was stood up will
receive the default win of 7-0.
-
It is
the responsibility of the Team Head to contact the other
Team Head to call off a game in the event of a rainout or
other reason.
-
Team
Heads must give the other team a reasonable amount of notice
when calling of the game. If a Team Head calls too close to
the game time and the other team already has players down at
the field, or doesn’t have time to stop their players from
going down they will have the option of taking the default
win.
-
A
rainout or postponed game will be counted as a tie until the
game is made up.
-
If one
team has made every effort to make up a game but the other
team can’t find a reasonable time to play or refuses to play
a make up, the team that has tried to play the make-up game
will receive the 2 points for a win. This prevents teams
from forcing the other team to take a tie.
-
If a
team only has 3 girls they must take an auto out in the
missing girls place. A team fielding 8 or less players will
automatically lose 7-0 to the other team. The winning team
has the option to play out the game and still take the
default win.
-
Ties
in standings will be broken by Total +/-, Runs Scored, Runs
Against.
