Annual Wasa Pig Roast and Slo-pitch Tournament, presented by the Wasa Organizing

Who: Cranbrook, Kimberley and Wasa Pub Ball teams (and friends), IR/Westslope staff, City Hockey League

(Kimberley - and friends), and the neighbours (and anyone else that shows up), anyone from Mayook Mania/Locals (and friends)

Where: Wasa Lions Grounds (behind the ball diamond, Wasa Lake, B.C. (If you need a map, let me know)

When: Saturday/Sunday, September 20/21 2008– anytime after noon, until the wee hours of the morning.

The slo-pitch tournament will start at 10:00 a.m. – we will ‘finalize’ teams just before the games (If you want to camp in the yard, you

are welcome to come/set up on Friday night – please contact Jon or Rox - There may also be

camping allowed at the Lions Park. I will confirm and let everyone know).

What to Bring: Yourself, A friend(s), one item for the potluck (i.e. salad, buns, chips, etc. – please speak to

Jon/Rox/Rob) Something to drink, a chair, tent/sleeping bag, bathing suit, ball glove, musical

instruments (guitar, fiddle, kazoo, spoons, etc.)
